Prayer & candle work
Candles and incense both. People ask her about these more than almost anything else — and she will tell you on the telephone which one your situation actually calls for.
Prayer, blessing, peace, truth
The candle Mother lights first, every time, before anything else is done. White carries a prayer and it clears the way. If you only ever burn one candle in your house, burn a white one.
Love, marriage, strength, courage
For love that needs bringing back and for a person who needs their nerve back. Red is a strong colour and Mother does not use it lightly — it moves things quickly.
Gentle affection, reconciliation, self-love
Where red pushes, pink softens. For a quarrel that needs mending rather than a love that needs pulling back, and for a person learning to think kindly of themselves again.
Money, work, growth, health
Money drawing and steady work. Green is patient — it does not usually come as a windfall, it comes as an offer, a shift, an envelope that turns up.
Power, wisdom, spiritual opening
Mother's own colour. Purple is for the work that needs authority behind it, and for opening a person up to what they already half know.
Healing, sleep, calm, protection of the home
For nerves, for grief, for a house where nobody rests. Blue is the quietest candle on the table and the one she reaches for most after white.
Clarity, memory, examinations, persuasion
For a decision that will not come clear, for study, and for going in to ask somebody for something you need them to say yes to.
Doors opening, change, new roads
Road opener work. When every door closes as you reach it, orange is what Mother burns to move the block off the road.
Court cases, lost things, steadiness
Practical, grounded work. Legal trouble, papers, property lines, and things that have gone missing in a house.
Removal, uncrossing, sending back
Never for harm. Mother burns black to take something off a person — a jinx, a crossing, a condition that is not natural. She will tell you plainly if she thinks black is called for.
What she burns
Mother Powers works with incense as much as she works with candles. Frankincense above all — it was carried to the Lord Himself, and she has never known anything to lift a prayer like it.
Prayer, blessing, driving out what is not natural
The oldest of them, and the one Mother reaches for most. Frankincense was carried to the Lord Himself, and she burns it when a prayer needs lifting, when a house needs clearing, and over any person who has been touched by evil hands. If she tells you to get one thing, it will usually be this.
Grief, protection, sealing the work
Burned with frankincense, the way it always has been. Mother uses it where there has been a death in the family, and to seal work once it is finished so it does not come undone.
Cleansing a house or a person
For clearing a room, a doorway, or somebody who has come home carrying something with them.
Washing clean
“Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean.” Mother uses it in the water when she blesses a home.
You do not need an expensive kit. Mother has watched people spend five and six hundred dollars on packages and get nowhere, because nobody ever told them what they were for or said a prayer over them.
Call her first. She will tell you what your situation calls for, and more often than not it is one candle from the grocery store and a prayer said properly.

Call Day or Night
Pick up the phone and speak with Mother Powers herself. Your call is private, she takes her time with you, and the first blessed reading is free.
